Vintage Bass Guitar Shops?
I am looking for a vintage (or something at least before 1995) Fender Precision Bass. I looked on eBay, but this is too expensive and no way of knowing whether the quality or origin. Does anyone know a online store of harvest or the entire north-west, where can I find a low harvest used for about $ 1000 or less? 10 points if you help me out! I would like to find a great vintage shop. Also, please do not say Guitar Center, eBay, Craigslist or any of those things. Thank you!
Consider House of Guitars in Rochester, New York. I have not been there in a few years, but they had more wide selection of new and used guitars that never saw the last time I went with our son. The building is old and funky, but most are staffed by professional musicians who know their, ah, things. They have a Wikipedia entry, a MySpace page and website http://www.houseofguitars.com/
