How the string of the mandolin?
I strung 2 times already but both times I broke the string when I strum or first. How I channel if the E string is not broken.
E is very high and requires a lot of tension. If the chain is new, so try to give at least five half-tones down early. Then after a few days, when you think that the pressure exerted on the chain is reduced, then you can set it up correctly, or if you still doubt, tune two stages of medium height. Do this until Is the correct setting. But do not rush the chain.
