I need a good swap meet in So. California to sell a collection of musical instruments. Any suggestions?
Unfortunately, I am forced to sell off part of a collection that I've been building for several years. I have a bunch of guitars (some antique) and a couple of drum sets and various other musical equipment to sell. Can anyone recommend a swap meet, flea market, or antique market in southern California? I would put them on e-bay, but need the money right away. Does anyone know of a place where there would be a market for these type of items? Thanks for your help.
I live in the San Gabriel Valley and there are only 2 swapmeets that I know of: The Rose Bowl swapmeet, and the Pasadena City College swapmeet.
Unfortunately, I don't think that either of those are music instrument oriented, so I think that you're best bet might be taking them into Guitar Center and posting on one of their classified boards.
Or alternatively you might go to your local college or university and see if any of the music professors know anybody who's looking for an instrument.
