Gibson Les Paul Standard 50's neck vs. Fender Custom Classic Start?
I can not decide which guitar to buy. I lean toward the beginning, but now I think it is good to have the advice of others. Here are the guitars ... Hello! Even if I am a die-hard Fender Stratocaster type, owned a Gibson Les Paul in the past. My biggest problem with the Les Paul was the duration of the order of 24 ¾, compared with 25 half-inch of the Stratocaster. I was (and still am!) Just not accurate (or small fingers) enough to touch the strings consistently in the upper register. The Les Paul is also a bit heavier than the Stratocaster, which while not itself a problem, it was like a boat anchor to end of a long concert! However, Gibson was truly exceptional, and produces unique tones that were overloaded unmatched by any of my Stratocasters. On the Les Paul particular that you are concerned, he has all the best parts and labor, and is certain to offer many years of reliable service. To play hard rock, metal, jazz, punk, or something in between, you can not go wrong with a Les Paul! In consideration of the Fender, you will get many of the best features Stratocaster, including enhancements to the bridge to two assembly points, the ash body heavier (more dense alder), and the comfortable "C" shaped neck. Although recognized both rock and blues to welcome to the widest range of styles of guitar, the Stratocaster can cover nearly every musical genre with the pick-up right! To highlight is the fact that there are many options to choose from in the secondary market for both Gibson and Fender instruments, but if you pay $ 2,000 or more for a guitar, you want it taste more or less safe! If I buy a guitar, I would rather opt for the Fender American Deluxe Ash Stratocaster (http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-American-Deluxe-Ash-Stratocaster-Electric-Guitar ? sku = 511143), which shows the S-1 switching system (http://www.fender.com/products/s1/ totally subtle and very cool!), locking tuners (no slip rope!), a modern "C" shaped neck (quicker and easier than worrying about traditional forms), and samarium cobalt pellets in silence (which will really appreciate if you use the Overdrive!) as a bonus, you save over $ 600! If not already, you should try these instruments for a hands-on shades individual test, the gameplay and the level of construction and quality components. And yes, the last image of the Stratocaster Guitar is very small images simply not sufficiently detailed to show the pimple through translucent body color. Best regards, Dana
