The PRS Guitar Company was founded in 1985 by musician and luthier Paul Reed Smith. Paul built his first guitar when he was questioned by her music teacher to create one for some additional credits, while attending college in St. Mary's, Maryland. Paul did a great job surprising his first guitar and has "A" from his teacher to change. This made him realize his passion for building guitars and decided to pursue his dream and making guitars for a living.
Paul started slowly at first, and perhaps finished a guitar a month. Once the guitar was completed, Paul would test by using it for a concert of his band plays. Then make changes based on what they felt and heard the views or his bandmates can give. Over the years, Paul has been many changes with their guitars, including body designs, drawings tremolo, wrists and try a different combination of various types of wood to get the sound correct.
He also took the initiative to find important guitar players to try their guitars to pass the word on their high quality products. Paul wants to make their local concert arenas 6 or 7 hours before the concert even started so you can make friends with the team. Most times, once it did, was able to return to the stage to try to get the guitar to try the guitar.
Paul has been a sale perhaps 1 in 10 guitarists talk it with Carlos Santana as one of the first. He also presented an agreement to surprise your guests. Even if there were difficulties to survive, the promise of Paul to give them their deposit if the buyer did not like his guitar. This warranty combined with superior quality and craftsmanship that went into their guitars, made much easier for the prospects of having a chance.
After collecting more than 50 orders of his guitar, Paul then two prototypes to be taken during a business trip to all dealers guitar he could find throughout the east coast. When he returned from his business trip, was enough to attract orders investors to start production.
PRS is known for being a leader in building high end top quality guitars. Being a musician he same, you know what Paul that sounds good on a guitar. Being a luthier, Paul knows how to make the sound of the guitars he makes. The company also uses PRS builders to pride in their work and most are musicians themselves. Thus, quality control begins with them and they all help each other.
Many Prominent players enjoy and pass the guitar PRS guitar.
