How to properly measure the output voltage of a car amplifier? What is the bass boost to the voltage amplifier?
A printed image that gave me the output voltage should I get when I play a song from 60 Hz to 4 ohms RMS and 125 (the maximum my amp per channel). Well, when measures the output of the amplifier (it is certified CEA 2006), was only 17 when he assumed that 24.6 or something. Well I put the bass boost from 0 dB to 6 dB and immediately appeared in 25, then I put on 12 and it was like 31 or 32. So my question is what do the bass boost, it is deceiving the voltmeter, I fly to my sub-marines progression of low? The graphics have said that 250 watts RMS is equal to 31.62 volts, so if my subs are 150 RMS that will make strengthening low blow?
The Bass Boost shed more power in the sub ... So it is logical that an increasing ... watch for the bass boost can turn a Amp if in turn as Ann, but here's the bad .... 9 times out of 10, the signal cut (not good) If you really want to boost low only want to get out from 3 to 4 dB more. Good Luck
